San Ramon

San Ramón is a housing development located 17 miles south east of Temuco. Three families from our church in Temuco received their subsidized homes in San Ramón in 2008, but only one has moved. We meet in the home of one of these families. Since July of 2008 our church has begun a work there with the goal of planting a church. We meet every Sunday at 3:00 p.m. After Sunday school in Temuco, we grab a bite to eat and the team heads off to San Ramón. At the moment we have three children’s Sunday school classes. We are praying for theirparents, it is our desire to begin something with adults as well.

We praise the Lord that we now have open doors with most of the parents; this was not the case at the beginning. We covet your prayers for wisdom in taking the next step with adults.

May Prayer Letter I

January of this year marked three years since Marcelo came to 21 de Mayo Bible Church as pastor (I joined him the following November). We thank the Lord for His faithfulness towards us in ministry. These three years have been full of challenges and also blessings. We have rejoiced in seeing people come to know the Lord, others fix their relationship with the Lord, and we have been witnesses of the Lord’s mercy in healing some fellow believers in our church. We have also seen others make wrong choices that have affected their walk with the Lord. We appreciate your prayers for wisdom in each and every area of ministry in our local church. 

Enero marca tres años desde que Marcelo llegó como pastor a 21 de Mayo (Yo llegué en Noviembre del mismo año). Damos gracias al Señor por su fidelidad hacia nosotros en el ministerio. Estos tres años han estado llenos de bendiciones y desafíos. Nos hemos regocijado de ver a personas llegar a conocer a Cristo, otros volver al Señor y también hemos sido testigos de la misericordia de Dios al sanar a algunos hermanos de nuestra congregación. También hemos visto a otros tomar malas decisiones que han afectado su caminar con el Señor. Apreciamos sus oraciones por sabiduría en cada area de nuestras vidas y el ministerio.
